Description: How to make a DIY Easter egg shaped treat roller for your hamster or other small pet. Your pet needs to roll the Easter egg toy around to try and get the treats out, great as a boredom breaker toy. I think this would be enjoyed by pets that like puzzles, e.g. rats. Also super cute as a DIY decoration in an Easter cage theme! ❔❓❔FAQ❓❔❓ What glue should I use? Any glue that is non-toxic and water soluble e.g. PVA, Elmer's and school glue. Non-toxic means that it will not poison the hamster. Water soluble means that if the hamster were to accidentally swallow a little, it would just dissolve. Since hot glue is not water soluble, it would not dissolve, and could cause blockages, which is why I don't recommend it. What dye should I use? Natural food dye made from safe vegetables (check the label). Chemical food dyes are not pet safe. You can also make your own dye using vegetables, just search "how to make pet safe dye" on YouTube. I used pink, yellow and blue+yellow to make green. What string should I use? Natural sisal or twine 🐾 Instagram/Twitter: @vanillahamham (tag me in if you try any of the DIYs!
